Printemps
spring day
The day was lovely.
It was one of those spring days
where Mai spends herself entirely.
The first butterflies landed on the first roses.
Everything was new, in nature,
herbs, mosses, leaves, perfumes, rays.
The pebbles were freshly washed.
The deep song of the trees was sung by the birds born yesterday.
It is likely that their egg shell broken by their little beak
was still in the nest.
Wings rustled in the trembling branches. They were singing their first song,
they were flying their first flight.

downpour
A tree trembles in the wind.
The shutters slam.
As it rained, the water made puddles.
Leaves fly in the wind
who scatters them
And suddenly it's pouring rain.

Spring
There are a few puddles on the beach
There are trees in the woods crazy for birds
The snow is melting in the mountain
The branches of the apple trees shine with so many flowers
Let the pale sun recede
It's a winter evening in a very harsh world
That I live this spring near you the innocent
There is no night for us
Nothing that perishes has hold on you
And you don't wanna be cold
Our spring is a spring that is right.
Paul ELUARD
(in The Phoenix)
In spring
Look at the branches,
How white they are!
It's snowing flowers...
Laughing in the rain,
The sun wipes
The weeping willows,
And the sky reflects,
in the violet,
Its pure colors...
The fly opens the wing
And the lady
With golden pupils,
In the wasp corset,
Unfolding her pancake,
Resumed the boom.
The water chatters gaily,
The stud wiggles...
Another spring!
Théophile Gautier
The ant
An eighteen meter ant
With a hat on your head
It does not exist, it does not exist
An ant dragging a chariot
Lots of penguins and ducks
It does not exist, it does not exist
A French speaking ant
Latin and Javanese speaking
It does not exist, it does not exist
And why not ?
Robert Desnos
Le printemps rit
Pluie ! Pluie ! Pluie !
Perles fines
D'opaline
Pluie ! Pluie ! Pluie !
Petite pluie
Qui n'en finit
Une éclaircie ?
Le printemps rit
Aux larmes, oh oui !
Marie Litra
Spring
It's the spring festival,
Bad weather, go away!
March,
No prank!
the snow is over,
More ice cream!
month of April,
Be nice,
Make the sun shine!
May,
Please,
Let the good weather come!
It's the spring festival,
Bad weather, go away!
The ant
An eighteen meter ant
With a hat on your head
It does not exist, it does not exist
An ant dragging a chariot
Lots of penguins and ducks

Araignée d'avril
L'araignée d'avril
Qui a tissé fil
En étoile dessine
La fleur de printemps
L'araignée d'avril
Son joyau d'argent
En fera cadeau
Au soleil nouveau
Et brille brillera
Demain, une étoile
Au jardin, cachée
Chut !
C'est un secret !

Comptine : Pour qui ?
In my garden I met,
What ? Guess, guess...
A little ladybug
who took his sunbath
On a sorrel leaf...
What an idea, what an idea...
In my garden I met,
What ? Guess, guess...
A tiny bee
Who made us honey
By buzzing with the four wings.
Good idea, good idea...

The pendulum strikes
Goutte d'eau
Je suis goutte goutte d'eau
Je suis née dans un nuage
J'ai le plus joli berceau
Avec je pars en voyage
Je suis goutte goutte d'eau
J'ai parfois un gros chagrin
Je pleurniche dès matin
Et puis j'éclate en sanglots
Ce n'est pas malin
Mais ça fait du bien

Poisson d'avril
Poisson d'avril
Poisson d'argent
Au bout du fil
Etincelant
Poisson d'avril
Tu es parti
Poisson fragile
En confetti
