Oralbums
The oralbums are “albums for learning to speak”, which offer texts close to oral with three levels of language (PS-MS-GS) and syntactic objectives and vocabulary adapted to each version.
Activities around the oralbum
-
Listen to the story told by the teacher then listen to the CD
(appropriation phase).
-
Answer oral comprehension questions
Who ? Where ? When ?
Make sure you understand the vocabulary used in the book
-
First attempts at restitution (in groups then in the workshop)
After one or two presentations of the oralbum, involve the children in the restitution of
the story. Gradually train them in autonomous oral storytelling, in their own way.
"Child storytellers" project - communicating between classes

Smartest (Mario Ramos)
Themes: Diverted tale / Little Red Riding Hood - Humor - Wolf - Fairy tale character
"I'm the smartest one! Today will be a feast day!" sneers the wolf.
On the menu: grandma and little gooseberry for dessert.
Arrived in front of the grandmother's house, the wolf gently knocks on the door: knock knock knock. There is nobody.
Only a nightgown on the bed. The wolf puts on the shirt, he goes out to erase his footprints in front of the house.
And wham ! A draft closes the door. Surprised, the wolf rushes to hide in the woods, disguised as Grandmother...

The Highway Code (Mario Ramos)
Themes: Diverted tale / Little Red Riding Hood - Forest - Story without text - Humor -
fairy tale character
As nothing stops progress, a small road now crosses the forest so that the little
red riding hood can get around on a bicycle.
The large road signs that line the road announce: three bears, a prince
charming, the little thumb, the hunter, the wolf and the grandmother.
Patient, the little red riding hood joins the very quiet house of her grandmother who is waiting for her to have a good time.
Great tales come out of the woodwork in this album without text.

My Ball (Mario Ramos)
Eh yes ! Him again....
Little Red Riding Hood is very proud. His mom gave him a pretty red balloon.
The little girl goes deep into the forest and sings happily:
" Let's wander in the forest… "
Ah! Who also walks there? A fox ? A bus ? A locomotive ?
No, it's the lion wearing tennis shoes and running like a champion.
6 unexpected encounters later and 6 more rhymes, Little Red Riding Hood doesn't even recognize the Big Bad Wolf...
Networking:
Grandmother,
What do you do ? (Leonard and Elisa)

- I'm not Grandmother!
